What is the best way to frag a zoo?

I like to let them grow over some shells of large grain sand then just rip the new growth on the shells off from the colony and glue the under side of the shell to a new rock then let the growth continue.

I've heard they're toxic and can polute the tank. Is that true?

Zoanthids have a toxin that is dangerous to humans, so it's a good idea to wear gloves when working with them.

All corals will slime up or release pollutants when they are fragged, so it's best to frag them outside of the tank and let them "bathe" for a few minutes in clean water before returning them to the display.

You will also want to buy some safety glasses. I have had many squirt at me and if I was not wearing glasses I could have been in real trouble. Dispose of the water after you fragged in as it is also toxic. If I am not mistaken it can be deadly to some humans in certain doses. Just be careful and take precautions.
