Rather then blast the forum with multiple posts, I'll combine two questions here. 1st. What is the best way to frag out some xenia? Of course it's growing like wild fire so I have to keep it trimmed back, I've tried pulling them off the overflow and scraping them off, and rubberbanding and glue them to a plug, next day, they were dead. (I think I'm the only one on earth to kill a xenia /shrug) so this time I scrapped some off the overflow, lined the bottom of a bowl with frag plugs and tossed them in hoping the would attach themselves, but if this doesn't work, what's the best way to do it? If it works, there will be plenty of xenia to go around...
2nd. My murderous wrasse has ran my beloved yashi goby into the overflow. He's been in there at least a month surviving off the massive colony of pods living in the overflow. I think it's about time I get him out of there. I'll probably put him in the sump or qt tank, maybe the mushroom tank until I can get the evil 6line out of the tank (which is proving to be impossible). What is the best way to get the goby out. A net wont fit in the overflow with the plumbing in there, I was thinking about placing a net under the bulk head and pulling the overflow pipe out and seeing if it would flush him out into the net. I love the little guy, I really want to save him.
