Hello How do I frag my zoos? I dont really want to take a hammer and chisel to my rock. Anyone have any way to do it without breaking the rocks? I hear they spread faster if in smaller groups. Thanks in advance Bill

you can place a rock leaning into the zoas and they will grow onto the new rock, which you can easily remove/cut with a razor.

You should also be able to slice between the polyps with a razorblade and then slice just under the rock. You will take off the polyps and just a little bit or rock with it. Depending on the type of rock they are on you should be able to use a new razorblade. Then you can just glue it to a new rock.

i use super glue i get at dollar general, 2 tubes for a dollar, they have both gel and the regular, i prefer the gel

I like to use zap gel. The tubes are a little bigger. The one thing that bothers me about the smaller tubes is that they are mostly filled with air. You will look at a tube and it looks half full so you think you have enough for what your about to do. Then you get everything ready and it just spits out a bunch of air and you realize you have an unmounted zoa frag and are out of glue..

Maybe it's just me this happens too but it drives me nutz.

i havent' had that happen with the cheap tubes i get from dollar general.
