Fraggle reef group buy?

You could probably get them cheaper in Denver. reefkoi got one in a store that had several ric frags. I don't remember who else had any.
 
yeah it was the new store on broadway moved from santa fe, Quality Aqua he had em for $15 or $20 a polyp they were nice, lots of individual ones. unless you are wanting a colony, I cant remember if they had colonies. I didnt get any though dan you must be thinking of the zoos I got from him?
 
Thanks for the tip guys, actually I found a guy that will sell them shipped for about 12 a polyp, I'm seeing if I can get him down even lower...
 
And, I just heard back from the guy... If anyone wants some rics (colors will be a variety and we can get together to pic them out kickball style) but I can get 50 ric polyps for 450.00 w/ free shipping, that's 9 a polyp shipped. I'll do 11 if anyone else wants in on this, please let me know... Gotta reach 50.

They look nice, but the pic was obviously taken under 20,000K's. Is that what you plan to use?

Chris, I wasn't referring to zoos. It was the single rics at Quality Aqua.

I'd commit to 5 or 6 rics, so we would set out the bags and everyone take turns picking 1 out? and then it keeps going around? sounds o.k. to me we'd all have to be there at the time they are unboxed and ready, let me know what the details would be, I cant remember kickball too well, I guess i'm getting too old.

BTW are they all individual polyps? or are some going to be several per rock?
 
I've checked Mr Aqua, they want 32 a polyp, for this kind of savings, the 20K shots will do just fine for me.

That's it exactly, we'll have to try to plan it for a Saturday IMO. Some will be individual some will have a couple polyps on rocks, but I'll request as many single polyps frags as possible. They are all mounted to rock though so you won't have to worry about them floating around. :)

Eric, what kind of lighting will you be using? Just curious.
 
$32 a frag? Man, I remember a year and a half ago when I got the rock covered in over 20 orange with green eye rics from Kin for $120--and I thought that was a lot per frag back then. I traded a bunch for other frags, and even gave some away. Too bad you can't trade frag futures.
 
I'm running T-5's, 32 a frag is just them, others are still offering them for a lot less...

Me: "How much is that Ricordia frag?"
Them: "32 dolla"
Me: "For one polyp!?"
Them: "Yep"
Me: "How about that small short tentacle plate"
Them: "64"
Me: "Bye..."
 
I wish scott had individual ricordeas, they'd be this cheap, I bought a blue acro frag today, more colorful and larger than the $30-$50 ultimatefrags. and I paid less than $20 I still think a good LFS is the way to go, its just having the patience to wait till they get what you want.

hopefully this order will turn out better than the last, what is the sellers history? name? ebay? do they have a reputation?
