Fraging acans lords

Thanks for eveyones input in to this. Bandsaw idea is best way to go. Ive seen my old LFS back home use one to frag a scolly before. But last time I looked for one it was pricey. But I found what i was looking for a diamond blade for my Dremel. Just got done fraging it evrything looks good lights are about to go off will take some pic tommorrow for everyone to see.

ya James thats Norman and my shopping time let the girls go everywhere else and we spend hours looking at tools

I dont remember how much it was there just not under $20

for anybody doing woodwork, their price & selection on pretty much any router bit you could need is amazing

my biggest dislike of opry mills is the large circular design w/ NO FREAKING CUT-TRHU of the middle :mad2:

James I park in the workshop parking that has more parking and I im at the beginning ang end of the shopping day I am also close to the food which is nice.

The wet saw that Wayne posted is the one that I saw, looks like a good deal. I'm planning on buying one for the North Tennessee Reef Club's use very soon.

I'm curious about band saw's versus tile saws, especially the oil aspect. I know that you can get a food grade band saw that is either not lubricated or it uses some sort of "food safe" oil, but I suspect that most cheap saws use regular oil to lubricate the entire blade assembly. Am I wrong? I'd be a bit afraid of getting oil (even a minuscule amount) into my tanks after cutting frags.

good point on the oil I never thought about that I know the food ones use a vegetable type of oil

Yeah thought the same thing. The one I seen in use was cleaned and used veg oil but the band saw was still rusty. And they clean off the corals they fraged with tank water before they put it back in there holding tank. And did there skimmer go crazy filled a 5gal bucket with in 5 min. Even after they clean they corals.

i usually do the same.....it just never fails that, for instance, looking at the Mall Map if i'm at the food court & want to goto Bed Bath & Beyond, then you have to go either left or right & go allll the way around the stupid mall :mad2: ....whereas if there was a hallway connecting the sides, it'd be a short walk & soooo much more convienant to get to stores in different "neighborhoods" as they call 'em
