Danienov, great looking frags. Looking forward to seeing them in person. Just a suggestion though, I think you should post them on fishaholic911's BBQ/Auction post so that all those interested in the event will see them. And uh, you won't be bringing the bubble algae with them right :lol2:

Not quite yet on the orange zoa, I have some rubble placed right next to it and i'm trying to tease it onto there. If I get a couple of polyps to move over i'll bring

remember, frags need a good 1-2 weeks of healing time to help ensure successful transfer. Fresh cut frags have a high mortality rate. GL!

I'll be cutting tomorrow. I'll send pics. I have 5 large red monti frags that I broke off during cleaning, up to 6" x 6". I'll take pics of the rest tomorrow.

Fresh cut frags may die more often, but they also have less risk of pests. Since we are all local, it may benefit us if we fresh cut but plan on replacing frags that die. I don't care either way. I'll dip and change plugs if they're not fresh cut, or dip and add plugs if they are.

Fresh cut die, decompose, release toxins and can rapidly turn holding water toxic. This is important since most of the frags at the swap will spend many hours in the frag tub from the time a frag is containered, to when the new recipient gets the frag home and into a tank. Most of the concern is pests on a frag plug. A well healed frag can be popped off of a plug or cracked at the base, just prior to dip/new tank introduction. Best of both worlds in that case :)

pretty, i will take one of each. lol. I have gotten corals from him and they are very bright and vivid.

Thank you. Most of the ones I cut today are huge, well for frags they're huge. I wish mine started at these sizes. The rest will have to be smaller.

All we need to stay on topic so I started a new Thread for all to post their corals. Sorry for those who have taken the time and effort to post but it will be so much easier if everything stays on the same thread and on topic.

Everyone's expertise, idea's and opinion's are valued so please use the original Thread to share your thought.

Thank you for your understanding.
