Actually keaton's mom
Keaton left home two weeks ago today to start his freshman year at TTU (studying biology...for now). The day he left he fragged a green finger leather that was taking up too much real estate. To say he fragged it is somewhat misleading. It was a massive colony that is now 3 large colonies and 2 fair sized colonies. I have them set up in a nano in the kitchen and would really like to see them gone on 9/19 or sooner
Here is the image of the original colony he got from snakemanvet a couple years ago:
The "frags" are about this size. By my estimation the stalks are about 1-1/2 in diameter and the coral is about 10-12" tall. He would like to get $25 each. He will take $10 each for the smaller ones. They were fastened to rubble but I think most of them have come loose because the corals were so huge compared to the rubble.
He also has 6-7 small sarcophyton frags. These are babies that dropped off this coral that also came from snakemanvet:
One is a decent size (maybe 1-1/2 diameter) and he'll take $10 for it. The small ones are pretty small and he wants $5 each or 3/$10. They are fastened to rubble and ready to go.
Finally, he has two single heads of the neon green candy cane that I think neuroslicer and barrett have had in the past. I forgot to ask him how much but I'm gonna say $15 each if that is fair. If its not, let me know. I can't find a picture of it in his aquarium folder, but if you need to see one, I'll look some more. Trust me, this is screaming neon green.
We also have a few frags of purple clavularia that Dave has in his show tank and I could probably manage to frag some of the green clavularia that you can see in the background of the first picture
The bottom line is that we're just trying to get rid of these to make room and raise cash for new stuff from the frag swap! They can be picked up from here or I can bring them the morning of the swap if that works better. Prices are negotiable if you think they are high or if you buy several. (Please, buy several...)
We are looking for a very pink pocillopora and a true yellow acro. Anyone have either?
Thanks,
Pam (keaton's mom)
