Frags without a plug

So I have a few frags not mounted a a plug and my mantis keeps stealing them. I've resorted to tying them to a small rock with fishing line but I fear it might be damaging. Any way to get my zoas to stick to the rock without fishing line? Any sort of glue or anything to hold them down? I hae some puddy that I use for aquascaping but it doesn't hold.

Try I-C gel, u can use it under water also.. Make sure dry the frag then put dab of super glue then u can glue it to the rock.. U can buy it at hobby store..

Make sure you buy the gel kind. I got some at Target but Ive heard that a lot of people buy it from the dollar store. The gel is thick enough that it holds and does not run. The regular super glue will just make a mess.

Personally, I'd buy some super glue gel that is meant for aquariums. Although you will likely be getting something completely reef safe--- is it worth risking that the specific glue you get has something weird in it that crashes your tank? I got my glue from Bulkreefsupply... it has great reviews and I love it! Plus the fact that its meant for holding coral frags gives it a better chance of living if you ask me.

Just my $.02

I've used the regular Super Glue from Home Depot and no problems at all. Like they said though you have to use the gel kind. I actually like the Loctite brand better. The little bottle is much easier to work with than the tubes that the Super Glue uses. Everyone I know uses the Super Glue too, it won't crash your tank at all.

Loctite super glue gel work well.
As long as the super glue gel contains cyanoacrylate you should be good.
