Looks great, I'm doing something similar, but I have two 90 gal tanks that will be at right angle to each other on the corner of my utility room in the basement.

Looks good. Can you take some more pictures of the plumbing and sump. I am curious as to to the nature of the pvc in the back of the rock with what appears to be a pump. Is this to force water back into the rocks or as a closed loop?

I wanted to cheat and check out the rest of your pics but your photobucket account is listed as private.:(

the pipe behind the rocks is 3/4 pvc and i drilled holes in it to make a spray bar keep water movin low in the tank

Hey Mech, That's a nice looking setup. Looks like you got a little knottical theme going there at home. Looks great. I like it!

You know, you dont need to drill to do a closed loop. just hang a pair of pvc lines over the back in a U , you know 2 90's to go over the top of the tank, and let er rip with a pump below. you can prime the pump with a power head blowing water into the suction pipe.

or have a small air tube fitting in the top with some air hose to suck the air out of the upper loop and prime. thenstick the tub end back in the water . to hold the fill. just like a syphon overflow U tube.
