Took 6 hours to prep the wood to use. I have the frame almost done. Tomorrow I will finish the frame and start on the exterior.

Nice... same sized tank I have; stalled atm waiting for plumbing parts that should be in tomorrow; this is how my stand turned out... love to see what other people are doing

I'll be doing four doors on the front. There will be one door on either side that will not look like doors. They will be set in with magnets. My bottom trim will be covered like yours as well. I'll stain it with a dark gel stain.

Looks good, how tall is your stand?

It is 40". It's taller than originally planned bc I'm putting it in a different part of my home. I decided to put it against a half wall so it can be viewed from two sides. I made to so it will be flush with the wall. I'm thinking of building a 12" stand for everything to sit on inside the frame. I'm not sure if the extra height will hurt my water flow or not.

Mine is 36" tall. I would skip the equipment stand and just enjoy the extra working room. I like the multi viewing side idea just invest in more than one magnet cleaner

Looks great! I really like the multiple viewable sides. Invest in some good glass scrappers

Thank you! It took a while but it's finally almost done. I have one large magfloat. Should I get another scraper? If so should I get a different brand?

Probably not at first, but in my tank staying ahead of the corraline is a challenge and i am only cleaning 2 sides.
