Very enjoyable Anemone Hermit crab. We've affectionately known him as, 'TRASH-CAN'. From the beginning we saw him as a short term tenent of our future Sea Horse / refugium tank.
He is a hermit crab in a shell, about 1.5-2 inches across with two anemones on his back. Lots of fun to watch. When you feed him shrimp and he's done, he feeds the remainder to the anemones on his back.
He has been the only occupant in my refugium until now, but my pod population in that tank is up and it's time to bring that tank into it's intended use as a seahorse tank.
I bought a pipefish today to test out the 'tank is ready' theory and so TRASH-CAN needs a new home. I simply can't afford to feed him $30 seahorse meals.
A $25 value he's free to the first person who can pick him up on Tuesday. Claim your dibs by PM with a phone number so we can arrange times. Our tank is in Chandler near Arizona Ave & Elliot.
