Free: Caulerpa sertularioides

I have a sprig of Caulerpa sertularioides with about 6 "fans" on it if anyone wants to start growing some. Its grows quick and looks great. I am not sure if this type goes sexual, but i have had no problems with it. But be warned, it has roots and will embed in the rock you put it on.

I just found out that this species of caulerpa is illegal and would not want to held responsible for spreading it around. So i guess disregard my post

If you saw what happened to my tank (Nano) you would never release this in your tank...

Today I tore up my nano to remove as much as I could..

If I could redo just ONE thing in this hobby over again, it would be NEVER letting that crap in any system I own!!!

I have a bunch of Caulerpa Prolifera if anyone wants some. I checked the webpage and it is NOT listed as one of the illegal caulerpa species. But I would advise against using it in anyones display tank. (works pretty good in a refugium though).

Mine escaped the fuge... I was told by a LFS it was great for fuges..
Not sure what type I have but it's some NASTY stuff.

Stick with the cheato!!!
