Free Haddoni

I just picked up a nice little green haddoni for free when I bought some live rock from a woman who was taking down her 75 gal. He is about 4in in diameter and has been eating well and seems to like the 250w halides in my Rubbermaid holding tank. Paid $200 for about 75lbs of the most beautiful purple live rock covered in mushrooms and got the nem for free.

Overall it doesn't look too bad. Its tentacles are a bit shorter then I would like -- showing stages of eating itself for energy.

It was under PC lighting when I got him so he may not have had the best lighting but I do know that she fed him silversides on a regular basis.

Just going off of what I see in the pictures.

BTW -- I would not continue using silversides that the previous owner did -- would switch to frozen (( thawed )) krill. Several experienced anemone keepers (( myself included )) have had horrible luck with silversides.

Where are you from? I think that is the rock I sold awhile back

It was purchased fron a lady in Shalimar fl she is a Dj for a local rock station. She told me the rock is about 12 years old it was in her tank for 6 years and she purchase it from a guy that had it in his tank for about 6 years
