Cool dude. If you can hold it for a few days, I'll definitely take it. I don't have time to set up a proper tank this weekend, but if I can collect it next weekend I will pick it up. I would pick up sooner but I'm flying out Tuesday returning next Saturday.

I will try, it's in a small bucket with air pump now, I don't know how long will it last. If someone else can pick it up sooner, I will give it to the person.

Weather permitting, I will get up to Nashville tomorrow. I'll pop it in my sump in the meantime - can you meet tomorrow?

LOL...I caught a small mantis (~1") a couple weeks ago that came in on some live rock...dropped him in the fuge, and a couple days later he was gone. Found him over by the skimmer...Took a while to get him out of there too as he set up camp in the bubble trap. He died in the toilet, as I didn't want him getting back into the display through the return pipe (in my system that's possible) and killing my snails and crabs.

Of course, turns out I have another one in the display that's 3 times as big. I'll give that one away if anyone wants it. They are fun to watch but usually hide in rocks during the day, so you don't get to see them just cruising the tank too much.

no pics yet - I haven't seen more than it's tail so I can't really tell what species it is. Right now I got a tank full of uncured rock & sand from Tampa Bay Saltwater cooking in it, and I'm trying not to get anything angry just yet. Richard was really, really generous with extras - several sea fans and gorgonians, half a dozen good size sponges, a couple anemones, and a scallop were thrown into the package - and I'm trying to keep everything alive until the tank finishes cycling. I'll get the shrimp's last known rock out as soon possible - hopefully he's still in there and I can goose him out without too much trouble.

LOL... well it's not as if I was gonna leave it on your doorstep in a bassinet with a note on it. :) I understand though - I'll snap some pics of it and post them so you and anyone else that might be interested can have a look.

sigh. lol.
here's the pic anyway. don't laugh at the poor quality, it's my fist time taking a pic of a shrimp.

Mine came in with the live rock I got from Critter. I am planning to flush it tomorrow if no one wants it, it doesn't really like the plastic cage it's in, and I don't think the cage will hold it for long.

Don't flush it, at least see if a LFS will take it/give you credit for it. I'd love one, but don't have a tank for one currently.
