eric- thanks. hold on to it, i may grab it from you at some point if you aren't going to use it. In order for the skimmer to fit my water level, i had to add about 4 or 5" of head to the maxi, so, i'll definitely be adding the stones. not to mention, after seeing the mce in action, this just looks weak lol.

it's in some boxes i'll find it for you. make sure to get a good air pump, i'd go with a luft, to fight the back pressure.

I've got an old Rena ~4.5 psi / 2 outputs I'm going to try for now. We'll see how that goes and will get a nicer pump if the mod really does well.

How's the angel doing? Any luck with that rock?

no luck yet on the angel, but he is checking the food out more. so far he has eaten one pellet and took a bite out of some blanched broccoli...he hasnt touched anything else so i am left to assume he didnt care for either of those :lol:

the garlic/vitamin supps definitely cause a rise in apetite for him so hopefully with that i can coach him on to prepared foods....he didnt even go after the cracked open clam, a first for me with angels

i am not overly concerned though, i think he'll continue adapting :thumbsup:
