Hey guys, I know there was a thread on here not too long ago about a bunch of different free programs to do basic picture editing. If any of you could point me back there, or suggest some free editing software I'd appreciate it (cant get the search to work...)
paint.net is my favorite for windows, it doesn't have all the features of some of the others but it is very easy to use http://www.eecs.wsu.edu/paint.net/
There is also Google's Picassa which is very easy to use but geared heavily toward organization http://picasa.google.com/
The gimp is very powerful but it's interface can take a little getting used to. I use it as my primary tool much of the time http://www.gimp.org/windows/
I would suggest you download and investigate all three. You will likely find that a combination of picassa and one of the other two programs for richer editing works best.
