I have a Blueline 50PXX that was used as Peter's main return until the day he took down his tank, and was working fine then, and it looks new. It sets off my GFCI, so I don't want to mess with it.
I also have a little giant (I think it is a 4-MDQX-SC) that seems to work fine (I haven't run it longer than 1 minute) but sounds like a helicopter (probably the cooling fan). The body is somewhat rusted.
Both these pumps have a high build quality, and are probably repairable (possibly very easily), but I just don't think I am going to find the time to play around and get them working.
I am willing to give them away free to whoever PM's me first (one per person), but please don't take one if you aren't going to make a serious effort to use it.
