Okay I thought I would inform anyone that may be interested in getting some sand for their tanks. I came across something rather odd about my order from www.petsmart.com . I placed my order Nov 13th for 5 20lbs bags of Seachem meridian substrate. They did not charge any shipping for this item. Its free shipping if your total is over 50 dollars. It does say somewhere on the website that the free shipping does not apply to heavy items. This apparently is not a heavy item :lolspin: . I thought I would look further into it and see if this was the same for the other types of sands they offer that are twenty pound bags, and its not the same. They actually charge an additional fee for shipping for everything else except for the seachem brands. I also found it on sale at another website and they honored their price which saved me about twenty dollars. The product was on back order
and today just got shipped but I didn't really mind. It is saving me a ton of money. My total was about 69 dollars and then I had a gift card that had 30 dollars which was from gravel that I had purchased and never used for my freshwater planted tank. What a deal I got. I guess my point is if you want this brand of substrate or you just don't care and you want need some sand get it while you can before they notice, or maybe they know and are just being nice. I dunno.
