Free Stand . . .

Hey guys, I have this stand for a 90G tank that I started to try to reinforce, but then just kinda gave up on. I was going to throw it away today, but I figured if anyone wanted it, they could have it. It has the frame and everything still intact, but I took of the doors, but still have them. This thing needs some TLC so if you want it, come and get it!
 
I wish I was in Davis, I am in the process of wanting to acquire a 90g RR tank and that would be perfect as I wanted to build my own tank but don't have the time to fully do it. Whereas that's a stand that would just need more support... Bummer!
 
Maybe someone could take it home to you from the March 1st frag swap... I know there are Chico people coming. Just a thought.
 
Yeah I'm going to the swap also but I think all of us that are going are taking gas saver cars and it probably wouldn't fit into any of those. I'm sure there's someone that can use it though and if it's still available by the time of the swap maybe I can see if one of our members is taking a truck or suv. I wouldn't wanna make any promises at this point.
 
It's been sitting here at my apartment for a couple months so a few weeks wont make a difference. I was just thinking of getting rid of it because its just taking up space and I dont have the necessary tools or $$$ to do anything with it (I even have a tank for it! but that wont be included) So if you can figure out a way to get it home LMK. I'll hold on to it for a couple more weeks and if no one wants it, I'll just throw it away or burn it or something!
 
If iairj84 isn't interested in it, I might be interested. I don't need anything nice - just something for my "sump" system.

If Minh doesn't bite... I'll pitch in $5 by paypal for 'gas money' for anybody willing to post a pic of this gizmo strapped "a la beverly hillbillies" up North.... Seriously.
 
Haha well I'm certainly interested but Like I said as far as getting transportation for it I do not know.. If Chris (Boviac) takes his truck down it won't be an issue ;) (hopefully you're reading this chris seeing as I just volunteered your truck) haha but I know I'm riding down in a PT cruiser and it's new so I don't think it's getting strapped on beverly hillbillies style, now if it was my PT, why the heck not!

It's all yours minh if you want it and could use it. I'm about 6 months away from a 90 upgrade anywho.. If all else fails hopefully we'll have a truck or suv coming to the swap so I can coerce them into transporting it.
 
Yeah, just LMK guys. I just looked at it again and realized that I took out the back supporting piece because I was going to switch it to a 2x4 piece. I have the piece of 2x4, I just never put it in! I'll include that as well.
 
Still looking into it. I've asked around about it but no luck as of yet, I don't know how many members are going from our club I don't know. And there's a few questions still in the air about what vehicles are going...
I dont wanna make any promises as of yet.
 
Will do, I've got one more guy that I'm going to email and see and other than that it looks to be a crapshoot.... We'll see though, I'm still hoping :)
 
It was, until I took out the back brace because I wanted to replace it with a 2x4 just in case. I never ended up replacing it though. I have the pieces still so it should be pretty easy to add in. I also have some other extra scraps that may help to salvage this baby. Like I said, it does need a little work, but I think I have everything you would need to bring it back to life. Only thing is that it needs a little putting together. I'll try to post a picture of it later so you guys can see it.

So like I said, it needs a bit of work, but nothing major. It should take a couple hours max to have this thing looking great! Iairj84 you have PM

If you want that stand I have a route truck that goes to Chico ever Wed and I can get it to you if you make the arrangments.Just let me Know.
