Free stand

I bought a used tank/stand sump skimmer and pumps but the stand is too tall for me to be able to clean the tank from a wheelchair. I was going to try to cut it down but I chickened out. I don't think my carpentry skills are that up to snuff to get the joints right. So if anyone wants it it is free for the taking.

It is about 33" tall and the tank it was supporting was 45"x36"x21 tall. It is painted black and not a bad stand at all.

If you want to keep it and cut it down, I don't mind helping you with it sometime. Just let me know.

I would be more than happy to help as well and brighton is right down the road. so just let me know and I'll bring the tools.

WOW! This is a great group. I want to thank you all for your offer of help. However, I have already built a new stand (I'll try and get some pictures posted later) and will be painting it today. All that is left is to mount the doors and build an arm to support the lights.

Richard has ordered me two 36" Nova Extreme pro's. They should be here in the next few days. I need them before I can finish the stand totally.

If you are close and want to take a peek I wouldn't mind at all a visit and would appreciate any advice. My cell is 849-8507

Im not really close to Brighton (just the mailing adress) I live at 504 Lyndsey Dr. Brighton. Lyndsey is about 1 mile north of the Tipton co line off hwy 14.

Thanks again for the offer of help,
Tracy

Sounds like you are just about ready to "get wet" so to speak. I sure wish you the best with your set up, I know from all your posts how much you have researched and really took your time.

I feel sure that you will have great success with this. I am very "green" to all this myself but any time you need some extra hands please do not hesitate to ask. I will be more than glad to assist. sent you a PM

Ditto!
