Gang,
It has been a long time since I have posted. Sorry I haven't been involved.
I have been really wrapped up in working to pay off an attorney and settle family matters. It is now coming to a close by Christmas. I plan on getting much more active in the hobby again once it is settled.
With that being said, I am going to sell off a bunch of stuff to fund my next project and to trim down my stock pile of equipment.
I have also taken down the 8 foot long frag setup as it had a vicious crash after putting in some cuttings from a local reefer that evidently had some kind of propagating mucus generating infection of some kind. (really scientific, huh?)
The 8 foot frag setup is free for the taking. It has a 55 gallon tank as a sump, new bulkhead fittings and 4 mj1200 power heads mounted to the rim of it run by a wavetimer strip. The measurements are 96 x 24 x 12. It has a nice black stand with doors and all the plumbing.
(I need this gone ASAP as it is on my patio under a tarp)
I have for sale a 50 oceanic setup that I drilled for closed loop and overflows. It has a DIY 250 watt pendant with moonlights, a via aqua return pump and a mag12 closed loop through a squid. 20 gallon sump with heater. $200 for the entire setup. The stand needs a door which I can make if need be.
This will be ready to take after 1/1...sooner if someone offers more for it. Will require a 50% deposit if you want me to hold it for you. I may even throw in a skimmer. (have to get the livestock out and into a temporary setup while I work on the new setup)
Custom built 34 gallon plywood corner tank with integral stand and a canopy for it. It has a unique look to including bamboo on the door. It has a slow leak in one seam and will need to be repainted inside to seal it. I have a gallon of black two part epoxy from aquaticeco.com that goes with it to seal it up. $125 (the paint alone with shipping was almost $90)
bunch of power filters of varying brands and sizes. The whole lot is $20 or $5 each. I even have a bunch of new catridges for some of them. If you buy either tank setup you can have a couple filters if you want them.
backpack skimmer with power head (has a crack in the cup but works perfectly) $20.
Hello lights 400 ballast kit never used...$40 XM 10000K bulb never used $35 both for $70
96 watt quad electronic ballast with integral wiring and waterproof endcap and a used 50/50 bulb $40
seaclear 26 gallon black back hex tank, ocean wooden stand and black acrylic canopy (canopy is cracked) it has a power head, ug filter (I never set this up, it just came with it) and a heater. $75.
I have more stuff to sell just have to go through it all so I will add more to this list.
I would consider trading some stuff out. I need a vho ballast for two bulbs, endcaps and two 4 foot vho bulbs for the new project.
Also looking for freshwater plants for a small setup I am working on.
