Free Swimming Zooanthids

Last night I bought some tiny frags from a fellow reefer. Really wish I had aqua-glue... all I had was that putty stuff. I did my best to attach the frags (3 small ones) to the putty, then the putty to a rock, but this morning they were gone off the putty. Are they gone? I guess no chance they'll attach somewhere and start growing and spreading

Next time, buy some glue first

You'd be suprised what corals can and will do. Hopefully you'll find them attached to a rock or some sand growing nicely.

You can always use standard Super Glue Gel to attach frags in the future. I keeep about 8 tubes of it lying around the house so I will always be able to find some when I need it.

Yeah I feel kinda dumb.....

At least I also picked up a cool hammer coral frag, the putty worked well on that, so maybe not too dumb lol

Don't we've all done it - I have a fewe things growing on rocks in the back of the tank that got away from the glue one night and just decided they liked where they landed better.

Glad it worked for the hammer - they are beautiful corals.
