I received this for free from another member. Not sure where he got it from but I've got to say that I have had ich in my system for a while now. Fish have been fine for over a year, but the parasite of course is still in my system, so chances are, the filefish has ich. Not sure if anyone wants to treat it before hand, or if ich is already in your system, etc...
Anyway, I've had him for a few months. My system was PILEDDDDDDDDDDD with majanos. I first took out the big rocks that I could and manually removed them, (which was only a rock or two (keep in mind my system is 210g)). My majanos were huge though; some up to the diameter of a quarter. I have very very few in the system now, but he's taking a liking to my lps and favorite giant sps colony (which is long gone now unfortunately )
So, when it appears your majanos are gone, keep him in there for a few extra days and keep a CLOSE eye on your corals. If corals start to get eaten, chances are he has no majanos to feed on.
Again this is FREE. All I ask for is for you pass it on within the club, and post here who the fish went to.
