Yo ReefCentral,

We will be hosting a workshop on how to control your aquarium by one of the best in the aquarium controller industry, Terence Fugazzi from Neptune Systems.

Come learn how the Apex can control and program your equipment (lights, heaters, wavemakers, dosing pumps, etc) to:
  • Make your maintenance easier
  • Maximize fish/coral health
  • Protect your aquarium
  • and so much more

If you've been thinking about getting an Apex or just recently bought an Apex and would like to learn more about the controller, this is the PERFECT opportunity to pick up some helpful tips on programming your controller to meet your needs. Already an Apex user but got some more technical questions? Bring them and ask him yourself.

This workshop is FREE and open to everyone, so come on by and learn what the Apex can do for you.

Date: Saturday July 11
Time: 1:00PM
Location: Room 2338 Chabot College, Hayward CA

I just bought an apex controller and have no idea how to set this up. I will be there

Awesome.

We'll have Terence Fugazzi from Neptune Systems there.

My friend Jon will also be there and he knows a LOT about Apex programming/controlling.

is it for beginners?

is it for beginners?

Is it for beginners or advanced people? I'm just a beginner as for as controllers are concerned.

questions?

questions?

Mainly beginners to the apex.

Feel free to ask him any questions

Only if I have some knowledge about it I would be able to ask some questions. I don't know anything about it, so I will just come and just watch. More Like a orientation for me.
thanks Enderturtle

I was not feeling well and couldn't make it. feel so bad. well next time if there is a next time on this

Turn out was decent actually. Probably 16 people there despite low turnout by the BOD.

Much higher turnout than the reef nutrition one. People like learning about the apex.

They raffled off the Auto Matic Fish Feeder unit for the Apex (worth 100$), some magnetic probe holders, t shirts. It was fun.

Maybe we'll do it again next year.

The next event to look out for is the regional frag swap in SEPTEMBER. Our biggest event. Im expecting at least 100 people.

We'll be working hard to give you guys a good event!
