Freebie Thread

Since in this hobby one reefer's garbage can be another one's treasure, I figured why not start a local Freebie Thread? (Mods please delete if not allowed.)

The concept is pretty simple: post any item(s) that you have for FREE or need to get rid of and are not looking for ANYTHING in return. These items can be corals, equipment, or even used bulbs! Pictures are always helpful, as is your location/zip code.

Also, to keep things organized, if you give away the item within the time frame where RC allows you to delete/edit your post, please delete/edit it to say "GONE". If you're not within that time frame just post again with "x is GONE" once the item(s) has been given away.

Also, please remember that these are item(s) that other members are giving away for FREE, so please only take the item if you intend to use it, not to turn around and sell it on CL.

Edit: I cannot take the credit for this wonderful idea. I saw it listed on another city's forum and figured we could do it here. I even borrowed some of the wordage.

I have a sump for a 90 gallon tank for free, it has a small crack on the top of the sump, but it doesn't leak. it comes with bioballs. its missing one intake pvc. great for a project set up.

We don't have much in terms of livestock but what we do have are spare tanks. We have several ranging in size from a ~100-110 bowfront with a stand and overflow, a 40 breeder, and many more small tanks in various conditions that we would love to pass on to new owners for livestock of most any sort. When I have a change I'll post some pictures of the tanks.

Did not fully read the first post and don't see a remove or edit option for the above post. We have some small tanks that we would be willing to give away however the larger tanks mentioned we would more be looking to sell or trade which would be done out of this thread.

I have some pale green zoas, Pandora's Box zoas, Pulsing Xenia, and gsp. they are in my sump, so they will have some hair algae/ bubble algae. you might want to dip them in Hydrogen peroxide to get rid of hair algae before going in your tank. The Pandora's box zoas are attached to the egg crate. Pick up location is 33176 (Falls Area). I am only available in the evening ideally after 9 pm. or weekends.

I am getting rid of several 5 gallon gas cans, a 15 gallon cylinder can, 2 emporer 400s, some old powerheads, and coral life tuebotwist with burnt bulb.
Not sure if all parts are there for emporers, havent used powerheads in years. But not looking to sell, just quick pickup or they go out in the trash
