Hi, anyone know if French angels are hardy? I'm getting a UV sterilizer, and I have a pretty good filter. Would I be able to keep a French angel in there?
They are very hardy fish. I had mine for 16 years. But everyone is right when they tell you that you'll need a large tank. The fish may be fine as a juvenile or subadult in a 100 gallon, but it'll get more aggressive as it grows.
You'll probably really need a 240 gallon in the long run.

Thank you, I am aware of their size and the proper tank they need in the future. I've seen adults bigger than dinner plates. Thank you for all the advice.
This fish is a big problem in a small tank, looks much space you are going to give, are sencibles to sudden changes of parameters, like everything Angel :fish1:
