french with dwarfs angel?

i have a adult french and was thinking of adding a few flame angels,is it a good mix?

In most cases, you won't see any real aggression between large species and their dwarf cousins. I've kept/am keeping pomacanthus angels with centropyges w/o problems.

Yeah, you should be alright as long as you introduce both flames at the same time and the tank is somewhat large.

In a large tank french will not bother the flames... I had one large with brazilian flameback and no problems at all

I would certainly hope you will be just fine...My intention is to have one large Angel (Emperor) with 3 dwarfs in the tank I am doing now.

which type of dwarfs you intend to have and are they the same kind.

I already have the Flame, I am leaning toward Half Black and Cream, though I am considering Coral Beauty and Ebili as well, not in addition, but in place of....So 3 dwarfs total....A lot of sites don't consider Cream as a dwarf, so whatever you want to call it, max size is 7 inch or so....I have seen larger tanks with 2 flames though, in fact a LFS here in Phoenix has 2 in a display 125 and they are fine.

It is okay to put a flame angel in with a French angel however, I don't believe it is okay to put more than one flame angel together in the tank together

I will respectfully disagree with that as I have seen it multiple times with no issues. Especially in a largeish tank.

You can put a french angel in with a flame or any other dwarf angel without any problems. I would just make sure that you get a big enough french angel so that there is a big size difference. Also, you can have more than one flame angel in a tank you just have to make sure that you are certain you have a pair, which they can be sexed based on appearence it is just not easy to do. I would ask copps as he know lots about dwarf angels.
