Fresh Water Dip For Ich

Will a fresh water dip do anything for ich? I have a tang and a flame angle that I just put in a QT today. I'm thinking to using copper or hypo treatment but was wondering if a FW dip would help. Also the flame has tail rot, can i treat this at the same time while doing copper or hypo?

Don't FW dip as it has no effect on ick and will stress the fish out even more. Just do the hypo treatment as angels don't fair well with copper.

Don't know bout the tail rot but as mentioned above hypo will do the trick. FW dip does nothing for the ich.
