Fresh water dip

Clown from reef tank back to QT- Do I acclimate him first to the QT tank, then do the dip, and how long do I do it for?

you do acclimate him to the tank.

make sure the ph in the dipping bowl is the same as in the qt tank.
make sure to slowly add saltwater from the qt tank to the bowl after, don't just dump him back in.

for about 10-15 mins(start adding salt at the 10-11 min mark)

I'm confused- acclimate him to QT, then put in freshwater, then add back water from QT??
