freshwater dip for mushrooms?

Whats the best way to acclimate mushrooms, freshwater dip like polyps? Drip, or temperature float method?

i just throw them right in i never acclimate mushrooms. maybe float the bag to bring the temp up thats it.

i always give all of my corals a saltwater coral emergancy dip ( it seems to be mostly iodine) to get rid of pests before i put mine in the display tank you never know what kinda nastys are out there
