Freshwater food to marine fish

Is it ok to feed freshwater food to marine fish? From what I have seen they look about the same in the description of the food and 2 of the food cubes are the same on each package. I get the variety packs from petco. Any help is appreciated I live about an hour and half away from the nearest pet shop so going to get more at the moment isn't really an option

Very broad question. Simple answer is yes and no. Need more info

Plus most marine fish will leArn to eat pellets. You can buy them online anywhere

Well to answer your question both of the packages of food both have emerald entree. Same ingredients

Pretty much all of the prepared foods on the market are interchangeable IME.

I feed my marine fish a mixture of many different things, frozen squid, shrimp, emerald entree, seaweed, pellet, pods, dried shrimp, they don't care they eat it all. Of course some prefer certain foods over others...
