Looks great. What size tank?
Those two are 55 and somewhere around 20gal?
It was built to fit the stand that blocks the bunny from running behind the 100 gal and 55gal and eating the wires lol

Nice looking living room. What's in the Cichlid tank?
Big mess of chiclids and random things that aren't lol. When I started this tank 5yrs ago I was gullible and though the lfs we're telling the truth about what chiclids they we're selling African vs. south America and that they were all community fish.... Now I know better.. one of my favorites is the tire track eel (long fish really ;) ) in the second pic.. he's about 16" long and holds his own with the big fish.or has for the last five years..IMG_20180316_225759.jpgIMG_20180316_225825.jpg

And since I can't help it, here I am with the reason the wires have to be hidden... I was ****ed in the pic cus he was beeing a nudge and a half LMAO.KIMG0507_2.jpg

I have all the stuff aquired to do a rock like tile background in this tank and plan on pulling all the rocks and epoxying them in place... Chiclids are such destroyers . But have to schedule time to really dig in and do it now. We movef to this 200yr old farm house two years ago and I'm slowly tackleing Soo many projects it's got put off. and I got annoyed when I found out how much the lfs around here had took me for a fool so my excitement for this project got a bit derailed at some point :( .

Looks good Dave. What species of Tangs are in that tank? Does someone local deal in tangs? FTS would be nice. I know you hate taking tank pics.

My list so far:

27 cyphotilapia Gibberosa (will thin the herd to 12 or so as they grow)
10 altolamprolongus calvus/compressiceps
6 julidochromis marksmithii
6 Leleupi
6 Greenwoodchromis bellcrossi

I want to add a school of Cyps or benthochromis horii/tricoti for the upper water but they’re expensive on the benthochromis and Cyps are Gibberosa bait in the lake.

The whole tank is Lake Tanganyikans.

Hi. That is Red Ludwigia. 3 x Aquaclear 300's. No CO2 injection.
I use 2 x 6500k HO tubes (altho thinking of switching over to a Kessil Sun .. I have Kessils on my reef and love the shimmer)

Tank is 65 gal Osaka with rolled corners, this pic just before I pruned the bottom plants. I toss out a bucketful of them every couple of months. Soil is Fluval substrate. Overpriced but excellent, does not clump allowing for vigorous root growth.
