When Orchid Dottybacks build a nest and spawn, does the female or the male guard the nest? I'm trying to figure out if I have as pair...

I just looked up frridmani in the marine breeders guide to double check that the male tends and quards the eggs . Also, if you have any 2 immature individuals they will always form a pair trough fremale to male sex change.

Thanks for the answer. The first Fridmani is an older egg-bound female. I added a second, darker and non-ORA one in the hope they would pair up. For the first month the older one chased the newer one around. But now the older one is spending most of her time in the rocks. So it looks like I'll eventually have a pair.
