Friend or Foe?

I picked up this little guy yesterday from StingRay1969. He didn't know that he had him and only found him in his sump when he was tearing his system down. It looks like a pistol shrimp, possibly a crystal pistol. Is he reef safe? What kind of goby will pair well with him? How do you get a shrimp to pair with a goby?
