Friends or Foes!

Did not know where to post this, but I wanted to see if these little white star looking things all over my zoes are friendly or not? Thus far they do not appear to be hurting anything, but I wanted to get a second opinion.

Thank you for the info. I checked on the link provided, but I did not see anything that resembles the star fish like things in my pic.

Do you know the name of them by chance so I can figure out how to get rid of them?

Oh, my bad. I had a hard time seeing the stars in question yesterday and I just assumed you meant Asterina stars. After another look it appears they're just harmless brittle stars. (Ophiuroidea)

Harmless mini brittle stars, they actually are helpful and a delicacy for wrasses.

Brittle stars good...asteria stars bad...very very bad for zoas...u look like u are in luck@
