Here are a couple shots of the duncan frag that died. I am happy to report that the tank seems to be doing better, the CA is rising (390ppm) and the Alk is 145ppm. The corals look happier and fuller. The 'white stuff' seems to be dissolving. I know I'm not supposed to do multiple things at once but I am/was desperate.
1. I added the Vortex CA reactor (still adjusting but seem to be working well at 6.25-6.30ph, using reborn media, this is giving me about 700ppm CA) also continuing to use KALK and does two part (CA only). Mg has dropped to 1360. Going to add Mg media to reactor.
2. Added a second dose of Interceptor + last Saturday and did a water change 24hr later. (I think this is what is improving the system)
3. I turned the light down 10%
The snails & sand star seems to be OK, Have not seen the crabs yet.
