frog spawn frag

I fragged my frog spawn ( of course only second frag I've done) One head came off good. The other head came off but split in thirds. But not all the way. Do I leave it or split it?

What do you mean it split into 3rds

The best I can explain is that the one head started spliting at the bottom in three places up to the top but did not go all the way throught to cut into. You do see the splits in it on the base. They are deep

You mean the hard stalk started cracking? If the cracks didnt get to the head it should be ok but the stalk is probably weaker. I think I would leave it alone and let it grow far enough past the cracks that you can cut them off.

the frag i got from the last meeting did that
i now have 3 small frags of frog spawn.

it seems it happened when the head was broke off when it was fragged. did you use plyers like was used at the meeting?
might have to use some snips next time like the ones for cutting hard coral.
