frog spawn question

i think that my flow might be too much.

is the frog spawn supposed to be tight like a bunch of eggs, or loose and wavying and stretching in the current?

can we get a pic? frogs are pretty hardy so it will live but you won't get it to thrive in high flow. really not getting what you are explaining but if they're not a huge clump then you have too much

no dice on the pic's....but, they are wavying. right now they remind me of hammers that i have seen, not the frogs i have seen. longer extension i guess is what i am trying to say.

waving is fine, stretched, depending on what you mean by that, maybe not. Euphylia sp. like low to moderate flow. tentacles should extend out a good ways, but if your flow is on the high side watch for very long sweeper tentacles that may sting other animals "downstream"

The frogspawn, like the hammer and torch, should have nice long, extended tentacles. Actually a healthy frogspawn, that has proper flow and lighting will have its tentacles extended so much that you won't see its skeleton. Pretty cool looking. They are pretty hardy and as long as he isn't being blasted he should be ok and adapt. In the wild they live in anything from bright, clear shallow water with pretty high current to dark, murky water with very little current.

hey thanks everyone, i will change the flow a little lower and see if it looks better. after the advice, i am not overly concerned but i will lessen the flow still.
