Frog Spawn

I recently posted a frog spawn at my LFS. It is branched but is growing like crazy and appears that the polyps from all the branches will eventually grow together. Does anyone trim them to keep them looking branced? Or will they simply always remained branch?

They wont fuse together (Ive never heard of/seen it at any rate). You can certainly trim them up though if there is a particular shape you want to maintain.

I have not seen any of mine grow togeather but if not trimmed it will slow its groth as it needs good water movement between is branches to remain healthy.
