I feed mine with a mix of Mysis, brine shrimp and a couple of other coral foods like reef chili, reef frenzy etc. There are lots of good coral food on the market, just do a search above here or Google it.
Yes but would have to be very VERY SMALL pieces. It is easier to feed Mysis since they're so small or some of the frozen mush mix that you can get like LRS etc.
I have had frogspawn in my tank for several years. Givin to me initially from a fellow hobbyist. Starting out with a colony the size of a baseball. Over the years it has grown into several mother colonies which were approximately the size of a basketball. Also during that time I have probably givin away just as much. All have thrived with growth and amazing colors over the years. Never once have I fed my corals food. All the tank gets for food is what I give my fish. Just my experience!!
