Frogspawn acting wierd

So my frogspawn in one tank is open and happy while in my other tank it looks miserable

Happy frogspawn:
4bulb h.o t5s
Moderate flow area


Sad frogspawn:
3 LED strips
36in 3w blue (18leds)
48in 3w white (24leds)
50in 1w Blues (over 100leds)
Low to moderate flow

I will be testing water quality in a bit and I'll update yall

LED lights have deep penetration, what is the distance of the frogspawn to the coral (please include the water depth and waterlevel-light seperately)

Tanks 24inches of water and lights sit about 4inchea from the water

My water is perfect just kinda hot 86F I dropped it down to 80using fans could this be the problem?


My water is the same between both tanks except for the temp diff

Happy frogspawn is 80degrees
Sad frogspawn was 86degrees now 80degrees

Yep 86 degrees is too hot and if it gets a tiny bit higher, it can kill.

And where are they located? Mid water columb, upper, lower

They're about midway and higher

My bubble and clam seem to be doing awesome they're both on the bottom.

In the tank that isn't having issues I have all the frogspawn 3/4of the way up

Frogspawn need to be on the bottom, they're low light and low flow.

Those aren't supper happy. They are getting too much light and too much flow can tell by looking at them.

Put them in the sand and low flow area, and watch the difference in them. Happy frogspawn have great polyp extension, those are hardly poking their heads out

I moved as many of them to my other tank as I could I'll have to wait and see

They're not too high up maybe about halfway from the bottom they are in low to medium flow (the polyps move but don't blow around)

Everywhere I've read says to keep them in moderate lights... Are my lights too much?

Put them on the bottom, not half way, not a quarter of the way but on the bottom. Also while on the bottom in one of your lower light spots.

Alright I'll try that, I have a few heads about halfway up that look like they're partiall opening up
