Frogspawn bleaching

I bought a frogspawn on Monday. As soon as I acclimated it to the tank, my pepperment went after it and started ripping off the polyps. I removed the frogspawn with some tank water until I could catch the shrimp. I put the coral in a low flow area, and it never opened. I moved it to a lower light area as today 5 days later part of the head turned white. It has yet to open. I am wondering what else I can do to save it or is it dead? It was a semi small unit at the store, it looked beautiful. I bought a birdsnest on the same day and its been fine since I put it in the tank. I believe the shrimp and move stressed it out.

Is there anything I can do to save this little guy?

Following along. I had this happen to me once. Mine was a hammer and it died after 3 days after my cleaner shrimp was ripping on it.

They need some flow but nothing whipping them around. What kind of lighting & what is your water testing at for Mg, Ca, Alk? Also what is your SG? There isn't enough info here to help you out.

Sorry for my bad english, but i think you will figure what i saying :D

The EXACT same thing happend to me, as soon i put the FrogSpawn coral in my reef my peppermint shrimp start ripping of the polyps.. I was thinking that maybe the shrimp was only cleaning the new frag... But nope !

The shrimp was always jumping on my fingers when i put my hand in the tank
i throw the shrimp to my Cyclid aquarium... My Jack Dempsey solve my trouble in one bite...

As for saving your little guy i have no clue, i removed my shrimp 3-4 hours after the drama started so my FrogSpawn is fine.
