Frogspawn Dripping gone!!!

So last week noticed a bright green speck next to my Frogspawn frag that I've had for about 7 months now. Took a closer look after clearing out some hair algae and low and behold it was a dripping :celeb3:

Looked last night after coming home from work and preparing to do a water change and now the dripping is gone!!! Noticed my Emerald Crab in a hole to the right of the Frogspawn and the polyp frag that was in that hole now on the sand below. Do you guys think he would eat the dripping or would the guilty party be my Coral Beauty who has never shown any interest in the Frogspawn ever? In any case I was able to capture the Emerald Crab and he is now in prison for now until I decide what to do with him. What are your thoughts on who the guilty party is, Emerald Crab or Coral Beauty?

Yes frogspawn will drip a group of tentacles as a way to reproduce.

My emerald crab lives his life sentence out in the sump for killing two royal grammas! The ONLY crab I will allow in my DT is a scarlet legged hermit, they don't kill anything and won't harm corals.

For the most part he was a model citizen, just every once in a while he would move a frag that was on the sand to create a shelter but if he did eat the drip he's done! Right now he is in a cup since I don't have a sump and I'm deciding his fate.

Yeah I probably will this weekend and try and get a couple hermit crabs in exchange if I can. He's doing fine in the cup, I change the water in it daily.

Well my LFS took the emerald crab and gave me 4 hermit crabs in exchange, I'm actually happy and seems to be a fair exchange and he has another chance to be in someone else's tank while I replenish my CUC.
