Frogspawn droppin pieces of tenticle floating in the water column any idea's why...

So today I noticed that my frogspawn did the same thing.

After telling you not to worry, now I am kind of stressed. I guess it is different when it is your coral ... I stand by that it is nothing to worry about, but I just wish it hadn't happened (or that I hadn't noticed it).

How is yours doing, by the way?

I have an emerald crab that nips a piece or two of mine every once in a while, no big deal it doesn't hurt the coral!! Usually just the tips however!!

My frogspawn has done the same thing for months, approx every couple of weeks. It has not shown any signs of stress and appears to be very healthy.

The only problem that I have seen, is that when they land on another coral it burns them badly, so make sure to check all your other corals carefully.

Other than the burning other corals I don't think you have anything to worry about.

nmprisons, my froggy is doing really well it has not dropped any more tenticles that i have seen anyway...by the way yeah i understand you very much no more prisons, you really feel it when it happens to you. lol. thank you blankenship and iboard2...
