Is my frogspawn dying. It has been looking very good for over 2 months and now it is bright green and deflated. Maybe or hopefully it is just changing or something. Any advice? Everything else looks very healthy.
Alk, ph, nitrates, nitrites, all in check. Salinity is 10.26. 77-78 temp. Not sure how to measure flow but I have the stock pump in the 3rd chamber and 750 powerhead in tank. Stock 29 BC with the stock pc lights. Have not changed light schedule or anything and everything else looks healthy. Just the frogspawn changed today.
If everything else is healthy I would check it for Euphyllia Bugs or White Bugs and flatworms. The White Bugs only effect Euphyllia IME and are particularly fond of Frogspawn. I dipped all my Euphyllia in a weak solution of Bayer Complete insect killer and they came back. Since dipping 5 minutes each in a more concentrated solution approx. 20:1 tankwater to Bayer; they have not come back. I will be posting a thread soon on my trials with white bugs and flatworms. I think I'm finally in the clear.
