frogspawn/hammer

I know both of these can sting but I have heard they can be kept next to each other and not sting each other. Is this true? Can they be put with each other? I don't mean right on top of each other, just in the same vicinity. I have a spot in my tank where my hammer thrives and has been growing like a weed. I just got a frogspawn and thought it might appreciate the same area since they have similar needs. I have also seen alot of pics where the frogspawn is just stuck into the sand, is this ok?

Thanks guys!

I've seen them touching in many tanks and in LFS, but I think it comes down to if YOUR corals will sting or not. I had mine close to each other and they stung a few times and had some sweepers going around, but after they got happy with where they were I had no more problems.

I would keep them separate just for the sake of having happy corals if possible.

Can you keep different morphs of the same next to each other like a pink base/green tip frogspawn with a green base/ pink tip frogspawn? And does the same apply for hammers?

I have quite a few hammers and frogspawns of mixed types touching each other, with no problems.

You can see them HERE

Does anyone know if the same applies with Torches?

Torches would mess them up, much more aggressive...
