Frogspawn Help

I came home this afternoon from work and found one of my frogspawn heads laying on the sand. What can I do to save it? Has anyone had this happen to them?

Sometimes they do that. It's usually due to stress but who knows. If you can keep it in a low flow area and still give it light it may grow a new base. Maybe put it in some kind of makeshift basket thing.

Polyp bail out is due to stress of some sort and is almost always fatal for that polyp, if I remember correctly

Would I defiantly kill it if I glued it or rubber banded it to some rubble?

I wouldn't rubber band it or glue it. Put it in a bowl with some mesh over top.

I glued mine to the inside of a small shell but it had a small piece of skeleton attached.

Does it still have the skeleton attached?

No its not attached to anything. I put it in a plastic cup and hopefully it will attach itself to something. I don't know what else to do.
