I just added my Frogspawn into my tank after 2 weeks of quarantine and a careful hour and a half of drip acclimation.
I carefully placed the skeleton into a crevice on my rocks so that it was held fairly securely, nice and upright, in a lower light, lower flow area of the tank (so that it could get used to the change between my QT which has 40watts of PC and my display with 175watts of MH)
My peppermint shrimp IMMEDIATELY starting picking at it. I figured it was just checking it out until I noticed that it had ripped the ends off of some of the tentacles! Of course, the frogspawn was all closed up from being moved/acclimated, and is still closed up, and after moving it a couple times the shrimp seems to be leaving it alone for the moment.
Is the frogspawn going to be okay? Is there something I can do to help it heal the damaged tentacles?
