Frogspawn issue..

Alright I have two types of frogspawn coral, one purple and one green tipped. Everyday around 8pm the purple tip shrinks and the green tip recedes totally into its skeleton. In about an hour they come back out. The lights don't change and are on for 11 hours. Before this happens, they both look very healthy. Lights are on from 12:30-11:30.

Does anyone know why this would happen? All other corals are healthy and my anemone is doing great.

I notice my lps changes throughout the day. Sometimes it's nice and plump other times it's deflated and sad. Have seen same thing with anemones. Not sure why they do it but as long as they are growing you should be good.

Mine have done the exact same thing since I got them almost 9 months ago. Strangely, around that same time too (7-8pm) but my frogspawn went from 2 heads to a full 9 heads so I stopped worrying.

When they are plump and inflated, they are filtering for food. When they retract, they are expelling waste.( pooping)
