Frogspawn Placement?

I would say placement should be dependent on flow and lighting, not whether it's on the rock or on the substrate. Moderate indirect flow is how mine has responded best. It will do well under a variety of lighting.

If you do decide to place it on your sand bed, make sure there's no sand covering the tissue.

does anyone know if frogspawns like direct lighting? I have mine under 150watt MH 14K and it seems to have issues with being directly under the light. I have tryed to move it to the side of the tnak where there is less direct lighting but it seems to still dislike where it is. Any suggestions?

Direct lighting? Yes. I wouldn't think that a 150W MH would be too intense for a frogspawn. What's your flow situation like?

I feed my frogspawn PE Mysis occasionally. It's a slow and unaggressive eater, though. Sometimes it takes, sometimes it doesn't.

I would say so, yes. Medium, indirect flow is what mine seems to appreciate. I have a Tunze Nanostream pointed at the front pane of glass, and the flow off of that is enough for my frogspawn.
